How to find the right oil filter
Enter the number from your old filter in the site search, e.g. 51243 (WIX) or W712/83 (MANN). If the number is not readable, compare the outer diameter, height, thread and gasket diameter with the product specification.
When to replace the oil filter
Replace the oil filter with every engine oil change. The old filter holds dirt from the old oil, so fresh oil with an old filter quickly loses its properties. When fitting, lubricate the rubber gasket with fresh oil and tighten the filter by hand, without tools.

How do I find the oil filter for my machine?

Should the oil filter be replaced with every oil change?
Yes. The old filter is full of dirt from the previous oil, so fresh oil would quickly lose its properties. The oil filter is always replaced together with the engine oil.
How do I fit a spin-on oil filter correctly?
Lubricate the rubber gasket with fresh oil, screw the filter on by hand until the gasket touches, then tighten it about three quarters of a turn more. Do not tighten with tools, or it will be hard to remove at the next change.
