Hydraulic filter

Hydraulic filters for tractors, combines and construction machinery by HIFI, WIX and MANN – for hydraulic systems, transmissions and power steering. We stock spin-on filters and filter elements, searchable by filter number or by the OEM number from the machine catalogue.

How to find the right hydraulic filter

The safest way is to search for the number on your old filter, e.g. SH52288 (HIFI), 51495 (WIX) or HD717 (MANN). If the number is not readable, compare the outer diameter, height and thread or the element dimensions with the product specification.

When to replace the hydraulic filter

Replace the filter at the interval given in the machine manual and always with every hydraulic oil change. A clogged filter reduces oil flow, puts strain on the pump and speeds up wear of hydraulic components.

How do I find the hydraulic filter for my machine?

Enter the number from your old filter or the OEM number from the machine catalogue in the site search. If the number is not readable, compare the old filter's dimensions with the product specification.

How often should the hydraulic filter be replaced?

At the interval given in the machine manual, and always with every hydraulic oil change. In heavy or dusty working conditions, replace it more often.

What is the difference between a spin-on filter and a filter element?

A spin-on filter is a sealed unit that is replaced as a whole. A filter element fits into the existing filter housing, so only the filtering part is replaced.

Are HIFI, WIX and MANN filters a replacement for original filters?

Yes. They are made to the same dimensions and specifications as original filters. When choosing, check that the filter number matches the OEM number for your machine.
